Go to the beach. Any Elche beach is great, but the beach which we usually go is El Pinet. You can bathe in a nice beach and then enjoy rice in the Maruja Restaurant.
Walk through the palm grove. The route of the palm grove must be crossed early morning or evening, when it's not very sunny. You cannot miss the Municipal Park and Garden Huerto del Cura.
Climb the Bell Tower of the Basilica Santa Maria. The Church of Santa Maria is very nice and from the top of the tower there are wonderful views of the palm grove and the city.

Excursion to Tabarca. From the port of Santa Pola ferries depart to visit the island of Tabarca, a small island with all the charm of the Mediterranean. Are advised to eat Caldero, it can be expensive but is very great.
Paleontological Museum. Little but fun dinosaur museum . Sunday is free.
Attractions for children. You can try the Elche Palmeral Adventures that will delight children. You can visit Polapark, a small amusement park, great fun for the little ones. There is a Zoo near Elche (Safari River), we do not like confined animals, but it is an option to spend a family day with animals.
